The Daily Review - Mixbook Holiday Cards

When you think of September, what is the first thing that comes to mind?  My thoughts exactly:  Christmas!  Thoughts of spiced cider, hot cocoa, and presents under the tree dance around like sugar plums.  But how do you tell people Merry Christmas?  This is where Mixbook comes into play.  The kind folks at Mixbook.com have sent The Daily Serge a complimentary pack of custom 30 5x7 flat holiday cards for us to share with you.  So, without further ado, let's dive in!

Right off the bat, the site is very easy to navigate.  It is simple to set up the type of card you would like and has an array of options and templates to choose from.  Due to our slowness, we did not have our official logo created, yet, so we had to choose our original outlet (now vintage) on our design.  We also chose a background which is similar to our Daily Supplies page [coming soon!] which looks very nice against the crisp text and picture we chose.  Once we were done creating our masterpiece, we breezed through the secure checkout (this quality set of 30 cards would have been $56.70, but Mixbook sent them for our review free!) and waited for them to arrive at our headquarters.

Sure enough, the package showed up within four business days and they truly delivered!  Inside the package was two vacuum sealed packages containing the cards and the envelopes.  The holiday cards were very stiff and high quality paper that you would expect from a post card.  With a slight glossy finish, there was a sheen that was evident, too, which really brought out the details of the background and words.  Mixbook new how to impress with their products.  This was not your run of the mill quick prints you would get at target.  No, these were high quality, professional holiday cards that were designed with class in mind.

After a detailed overview of the Mixbook cards, it was time to see if they were up to the times with a Facebook page.  Sure enough, they were way ahead of the times.  The landing page flows right into their 'Like' button, and the colors are soft and inviting.  Needless to say, The Daily Serge is going to be taking a page out of Mixbook's FB page....

In conclusion, I can assure you that Mixbook is one of the top contenders for holiday cards, as well as a plethora of other items.  The Daily Serge gives Mixbook.com a full 5 out of 5 TDS Thumbs Ups!
