TRANSFORMERS: Not Just for Fiction

Today's content is all about INNOVATION.

Lets start with ASUS, the company that's been making waves in Taiwan since April 1990.

Formed by 4 former ACER Engineers, ASUS (pronounced "Ay, Seuss!") derives it's named from Pegasus of Greek mythology. The founders also wisely chose a moniker that began with the letter "A", ensuring the companies easy visibility on the Stock Market (ASUS trades on 2 different markets, in fact).

SINCE THEN, ASUS has been in Asia's Top Ten IT Companies, and has won a number of industry-leading honors.

ASUS has poduced everything from netbooks, laptops, phones, servers, and optical drives.

The most intriguing is by far the TRANSFORMER.

IS IT A LAPTOP? A TOUCHPAD? A WIRELESS KEYBOARD?

How about ALL THREE IN ONE.

That's right.

As a Fan of all things functional, ASUS TRANSFORMER and TRANSFORMER PRIME are definitely on my wishlist.

The ONLY downside is the lack of a CD/DVD drive... And even that can be remedied by an external disc drive and a little hacking...

STOCK-WATCH: ASUS is a continental and global industry leader. You would do well to invest, as the future is extremely bright for this company.

ASUS trades on the
London Stock Exchange (LSE: ASKD) as well as its native Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE: 2357).
