Facebook Search Engine: Easier than Ever to Creep

This afternoon, Mark Zuckerberg unveiled the latest addition to the Facebook universe: The Facebook Search Engine.  Now, it will be easier than ever to search for specific criteria when looking for new friends on the world's most popular social media site.  Looking for violinists in your city?  Want to know which Chinese buffets your Asian friends recommend?  How about singles who enjoy Star Wars and World of Warcraft?  Then look know further than the newest addition to your page.

My typical Saturday night.

“When Facebook first launched, the main way most people used the site was to browse around, learn about people and make new connections. Graph Search takes us back to our roots and allows people to use the graph to make new connections,” the company said.

Zuckerberg says that the search will only be for Facebook and is not meant as a way to compete with any other search engines (specifically Google), and the company ensures that privacy will still be kept among the 1 trillion connections linking over 1 billion Facebook users.
